Saxophonist and clarinetist, Wade Dillingham has given solo and chamber concerts throughout the United States and has performed at John Donald Robb Composers Symposium, Music for Angel Fire Chamber Music Festival, regional and national conferences of the North American Saxophone Alliance, and many other venues throughout the United States. In his commitment to new music he is working toward the release of a solo album of music by living female composers and the premiere of new chamber works for saxophones. Dr. Dillingham’s graduate work centered around the performance of standard and contemporary music for the saxophone and clarinet and culminated in a soon to be released jazz album featuring the music of Charlie Parker and Art pepper.
Dr. Dillingham has done extensive work with secondary level musicians and served as teaching assistant to Dr. Griffin Campbell and Dr. Eric Lau at Louisiana State University and the University of New Mexico respectively. His primary clarinet teachers were Professor Keith Lemmons at the University of New Mexico and Dr. Meghan Merciers at the University of North Alabama.
